Wargaming is looking for talented Render Developer who may bring his own expert skills to our worldwide project World of Warships. We are the strong team with good professionals at the different areas. Our aim is to deliver best MMO Action game for our players!

Our team supports Game Engine and Redner is one of important direction. We are bringing the best approaches from industry to the game, and this makes sense at the picture. We don't want a stop and have plans for delivering the best Visual that can provide modern technologes. In couple with Art Department, we've done a great work and now it's time to reach new heights.

What are you working on?
  • The name of the project(s): World of Warships
  • Genres: MMO
  • Platforms: PC
For which tasks (responsibilities)?
  • Implement new and improve existing graphic features

  • Work close with Visual Art Department

  • Refactoring, code optimization, fix graphic bugs

  • Creation of tech documentation

What kind of professional are we looking for?
  • 2+ year of experience in commercial C++ development

  • Experience in any graphics API (DirectX, Vulkan, OpenGL)

  • Clear understanding of the graphics pipeline and how shaders (vertex, geometry, pixel, compute) work

  • Experience optimizing performance factors using hardware and software profilers (Render Doc, NVidia NSight, Vtune, PIX , etc.)

  • Knowledge of linear algebra (vectors, matrices, quaternions)

  • Ability to debug shaders and engine-level code

  • Ability to research existing approaches and adapt those to new or modified uses

  • English - B2 and above

What additional skills will help you stand out?

  • Knowledgeable in a variety of special FX techniques: PostFX, HDR, BRDF, GI, LightMaps, Shadows, Water, FFT, Decals

  • Experience in creation of own 3D demo applications or creation of own engine

  • Experience with multithreaded programming

  • Passion for games and willingness to grow as a professional within the game development industry
