We are seeking a skilled and data-driven Game Economy Designer to join our innovative game development team. For which tasks (responsibilities)?
Develop and balance the game economy: Ensure an optimal balance between free and paid content while maintaining player engagement and monetization.
Design progression systems: Create level mechanics, unlocking systems, and difficulty curves tailored to the Merge 2 genre and related genres.
Develop economic systems: Define resource types, acquisition methods, expenditure mechanics, limitations, and their impact on the game balance.
Create game events (Event design): Design seasonal events, limited-time offers, and other engagement mechanics.
Optimize monetization: Set up in-game offers, pricing packages, in-app purchases (IAP), and advertising integrations (rewarded ads).
Analyze game metrics: Collect and interpret data (KPI, in-game metrics, player behavior models) and conduct A/B testing to enhance the game economy.
Collaborate with the team: Work closely with game designers, analysts, producers, and marketing teams to achieve project goals.
What kind of professional are we looking for?
3 to 5 years of experience as a Game Economy Designer or in related roles.
Hands-on experience in F2P game development, preferably in Merge, Expedition, Puzzle, Simulation, or Strategy genres.
Deep understanding of monetization principles and game economy mechanics.
Experience with A/B testing and game metrics analysis.
Proficiency in analytics tools such as Game Analytics, Firebase, Tableau.
Strong skills in Excel/Google Sheets for building economic models.
Bonus: Basic knowledge of Unity.
