3D Layout Artist

The Creatives Department is looking for a 3D Layout Artist!

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

• Produce videos using the most efficient techniques in Blender and After Effects;

• Assemble 3D scenes based on concepts and storyboards;

• Set up lighting to create appealing and atmospheric compositions;

• Model high-quality 3D objects;

• Collaborate with animators and technical specialists;

• Animate secondary objects in scenes (non-character elements);

• Perform high-quality simulations of physical object behaviors and fluids;

• Optimize scenes for fast and high-quality rendering;

• Render and optimize scenes, followed by compositing in accordance with the art lead’s overpaint;

• Create high-quality and engaging sound effects using stock samples from the existing library.

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• Advanced proficiency in Blender and After Effects;

• A portfolio showcasing completed 3D videos;

• At least 2 years of experience as a 3D Layout Artist, 3D Generalist, or 3D Motion Designer using Blender or in a similar position (marketing creatives, series, advertisements);

• Strong understanding and skills in creating appealing 3D frame compositions;

• Advanced lighting skills in 3D scenes;

• 3D modeling expertise (Blender);

• Experience creating textures and procedural materials for rendering and game engines (Substance 3D Painter);

• Basic principles of object and camera animation;

• Experience in compositing rendered videos in AE, including color grading and effects layering;

• Proficiency in creating various simulations in Blender, Embergen, and Liquigen;

• Responsibility and teamwork skills.

What is important for us in a person?

• Work in related disciplines (2D motion, CG art, concept design for props or environments);

• Leadership skills and experience organizing effective team workflows;

• Experience with Cinema 4D and Houdini;

• Skills and experience in creating videos (cinematics) in Unreal Engine;

• Proficiency in using AI tools in creative workflows;

• Ability to create environment and prop concepts in a casual art style.
